Lara Harrington is a seasoned leader in product development and manufacturing strategy, with over 33 years of experience optimizing workflows, enhancing quality, and driving operational excellence. With deep expertise from world-class lean manufacturing organizations, she specializes in helping businesses eliminate inefficiencies, accelerate innovation, and improve execution.

 

As former Chief Engineer at Honda Research and Development, Lara led the development of multiple vehicle programs, including the 2019 Honda Passport, and later served as Senior Director for Honda’s North American research portfolio, shaping strategic initiatives across product lines.

 

Now, as Managing Director of Inscape Development Group, Lara works with companies to strengthen product development and manufacturing strategy by refining development frameworks, improving decision-making, and embedding early validation processes to accelerate product launches. She collaborates with organizations to optimize operations, streamline workflows, and navigate complex change management initiatives. Through expert-led training and structured improvement processes, she helps teams enhance efficiency, solve critical challenges, and drive sustainable growth.

 

Lara holds an engineering degree from The Ohio State University and also lectures at OSU, where she teaches Lean Product & Process Development, equipping future leaders with the tools to drive operational excellence.
